As raindrops fall and tree blossoms litter the ground, Clyde Breeden walks through Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, Ind., placing flags at the graves of veterans in anticipation of Memorial Day, Friday, May 27, 2005. Breeden, a Korean War Navy veteran, is now a member of American Legion Kapperman Post 44. Legion post members say they passed out approximately 500 flags at the cemetery. "Most of these names (on the graves) are names I'm familiar with," said Breeden. "We should never forget our veterans. They're the ones who have kept us free."
